Handheld shower head installation guide

Six simple steps. No tools required (in most cases). The whole process takes under two minutes.

1. Step 1

   Remove Old Shower Head

   Twist off your existing shower head from the wall outlet. Use your hand or a wrench if needed.

2. Step 2

   Clean the Thread

   Wipe the shower arm thread clean to remove any old tape or buildup.

3. Step 3

   Apply Thread Tape

   Wrap plumber's (PTFE) tape around the thread 2 to 3 times to prevent leaks.

4. Step 4

   Attach the Hose

   Screw one end of the hose onto the wall outlet. Hand-tighten firmly.

5. Step 5

   Connect the Shower Head

   Attach the handheld shower head to the other end of the hose. Tighten by hand.

6. Step 6

   Turn On Water & Check

   Turn the water on and check for leaks. If needed, tighten slightly.
